Since partnering with Providence Row back in November 2015, staff at Berkeley Homes North East London have volunteered over 100 hours and raised over £30,000 for their charity. Providence Row tackles the root causes of homelessness, and helps people to get off-and stay off-the streets.
Tuesday 8th March 2016 saw 220 Berkeley Group employees lace up their trainers and race up the 932 steps of Tower 42 in Central London in the UK's toughest vertical challenge. There were some fantastic times recorded and an incredible £54,000 raised for Shelter, £4,000 over our target.
Wardrobe Relief is run by Shelter, the UK's largest housing and homeless charity. Berkeley staff are asked to donate their pre-loved clothing, toys and bric-a-brac to selected sites across the Berkeley Group division, which are then collected and taken to Shelter's charity shops across the country to sell.
